Lottery Campus Housing

This page offers information, updates, and links to the University Shuttle service, nearby hotels, 2016 room blocks, and 10th Reunion campus lottery housing. Hotels book up quickly, so be sure to make your reservation soon!

 

This link provides a list of hotels in the area, highlighting those on the University Shuttle route.

Please note:

The University is Discontinuing Select Hotel Lyft Credits, which provided alumni with a daily stipend to travel to and from a select number of hotels outside the University’s hotel shuttle services.

The University is Discontinuing Rider University and Hilton Garden Inn Lawrence Shuttle Service due to limited use. 

Room Block Information:

  • Residence Inn Carnegie Center

    We have 20 queen suites reserved. Each room has a queen, a pull out couch, and a kitchenette.

    Conditions:

    - 2 night minimum is required

    - Rooms are cancellable until March 2nd and will not be charged until March 3rd, 2026

    Reservations:

    Reservations can be made by calling the Hotel Sales Department at (609) 799-0550. Identify yourself as a member of the Class of 2016.

  • Holiday Inn

    We have 20 double rooms and 5 king rooms reserved

    Conditions:

    - 3 night minimum stay is required

    - Rooms are paid in full upfront

    - Cancellations can be made 90 days prior to arrival without penalty, or by February 20th, 2026

    - Rooms must be booked by January 21st, 2026 before they are released back to the hotel

  • Hilton Garden Inn Lawrenceville

    - We have 10 rooms reserved

    Conditions:

    - 2 night minimum stay is required

    - Rooms are paid upfront and are refundable until 60 days prior to Reunions (March 20th)

    - Rooms must be booked by March 20th, 2026

    The University recently revised that it will no longer offer shuttle service due to limited use**

    We have 7 Kings (with Sofa Beds) and 7 Double Queen Rooms reserved

    Conditions:

    - 3 night minimum stay is required

    - Rooms are paid in full up front

    - Cancellations must be made by 11:59pm ET on March 20th, 2026 to receive a full refund

    - Rooms must be booked by January 30th, 2026

    - Rooms are paid upfront and are non-refundable 24 hours after booking

On Campus Housing Lottery

The University allocates a set number of beds (not rooms) to each Major Reunion. These rooms will be made available via a lottery, which will be absolutely random selection. Those with a particular need for campus housing will be considered on a case by case basis. For more details, please keep reading lottery FAQs:  

  • When can I sign up?

    • You can register for the housing lottery when Reunions Registration opens in early February.

  • What are my odds?

    • Given the limited number of beds, please do not depend on the housing lottery for your sleeping arrangement. Priority will be given to classmates who are up to date on their class due payments since our 5th. Pay class dues here!

      • See if you are up to date by searching for email receipts. The sender is <tigernet-email@princeton.edu> and the subject is Princeton University - Successful payment - Your receipt

  • How much does it cost?

    • A campus bed for 3 nights costs $225, paid to the University. You must provide your own sheets, pillows, towels. For your own sanity, do not forget your shower shoes.

  • Can I stay with my friends?

    • You can list preferred roommates when you register. Housing volunteers will be doing their best to match requested roommates within the bounds of the beds and rooms the University gives us. Please note this information can come to us as late as April or beginning of May as current students figure out their own plans.

  • When will I know if I got a bed?

    • We are dependent on the University for when we can confirm your housing. For this reason, we urge you to no depend on the lottery for your housing.

  • My friend got a bed / friends got a room, can I crash with them?

    • It’s your Reunion. Please make sure all in the room are on the same page before moving in.
